Steve Main

Steve Main has been a part of Choral Dynamics for 28 years. His first experience with Choral Dynamics was an audience member for two shows and decided to join Choral Dynamics for the invitation printed in the Program Booklet. In recalling the first show Steve was involved in, the curtains opened the audience applauded and the rush he had was exciting. Steve says he could have sung all night from that experience. Through Choral Dynamics Steve has met many wonderful people and have become friends with many. Being a single person Choral Dynamic has become a family to Steve filled with joys and sadness. When not on stage Steve is a pork producer in Altona where he farms with his brother. A former Peace Corps Volunteer Steve still enjoys traveling to foreign countries on short term mission trips. Steve continues to be involved with Choral Dynamics both on stage and behind the scenes serving on boards and committees. We hope to see you at the next show.

Jean Shumard

Jean Shumard

Jean Shumard is a veteran member and has served in many positions since she joined Choral Dynamics in 1976. Jean also has played synthesizer for many of the Choral Dynamics shows over the years. Since her retirement as a secretary for School District 205, she has been a tax preparer for Action Income Tax Service, Inc.

The rest of the year she and husband, Roy, enjoy traveling, fishing and visiting with their children. Jean appreciates the support Roy has given her over all these years. They have 3 daughters and one granddaughter, Mindy, who is actively pursuing an opera career in NYC.
