Phil Ulm, Producer for “Christmas Gospel”

I joined Choral Dynamics in January 1999 and performed in the spring show, “Anything Goes Tonight”. I have performed in more than 20 shows during these past 12 years and have co-produced two of them.

The inspiration for this show came while singing in the church choir this past spring. On this particular Sunday, the choir sang a gospel arrangement of “Just a Closer Walk with Thee”. The song created such an electric moment for both the choir and congregation that I decided it would be a great theme for a Choral Dynamics show. My research revealed a very large number of Christmas Gospel arrangements for a show like ours, which convinced me that a show could be created on a single genre.
